He looked at she
She looked at he.
No words needed.
After so long together
they knew each other
inside out.

The wanting
The yearning
The build up
The urgency
The happening
The relief
The sleep

To yearn and not touch
And appear free from lust
Is an improbability
To love unconditionally
And not experience hurt
Is an impossibility
What she lacked in education
She made up for in humour.
She was young and exciting
As graceful as a puma
So tall and energetic.
So powerfully beguiling.
He knew he couldn’t contain her
But for a while she had him smiling.

He loved her like there was no tomorrow
And maybe that is the most honest form of love
To take the moment as it presents itself
To seize the opportunity
To not ask questions and therefore remove all guilt.
But as with every high point, a low must follow
And then comes the abyss

She was a virgin of her own choosing.
Not yet deflowered.
A fortress of protection,
or maybe a sexual coward?
An heiress of un-trodden sand.
Her body a temple
A shrine
A wonderland of undiscovered treasure
And only she held the key in her hand

Go away, you are much too young for me,
You’re asking for trouble, so best leave things be.
It’s fun to flirt, until someone gets hurt
So please, just go away from me.
I know older women you find more appealing,
You say they make love with a lot more feeling.
I know you’re passionate, I’ve heard you talk
But for your sake now – little boy –just walk!
I felt it the first time I held your hand,
That sexual attraction, that nobody planned.
So I’m begging you to just leave through that door,
As I’m finding this feeling so hard to ignore!
Please go now, you’re just too much to resist,
I’ve known it ever since the first time we kissed.
But if in your mind you’re really quite certain,
Then you go upstairs, whilst I draw the curtain….

The man in the mask has a certain charm
Who will tonight be on his arm?
The lady in crimson dances by
Will she catch his eye?
I can’t go back there
The pain is too great
That was then, this is now
So don’t dangle the bait.

Over the gallops, romping away
Young and carefree, no one to betray
Approaching the hurdles, landing with ease
Not needing the whip for a little tease
Over the moon, jumping for joy
Captured the love of a special boy
