Percoughalees travelled on the

vaporetto and couldn’t believe his eyes,

when he spotted dearest Mendotta,

not far from the Bridge of Sighs.

He alighted and rushed after Mendotta,

who was already in St Marks Square.

She had met up with Admiral Unkonkey,

who was stroking her silken hair.

Without planning or hesitation,

Percoughalees became blinded with rage,

and ran up behind Unkonkey, and hit him

with all the power he could engage.

Mendotta let out a scream, and told

Percoughalees to ‘get out of her sight’.

Unkonkey stood to his feet, his face now

a ghastly shade of white.

Mendotta threw her arms around him,

which filled Unkonkey with delight, but

she also had mixed feelings, as she

watched Percoughalees fade into the night.
