With everything to live for
and their name gaining respect.
And their hard work finally paying off –
Why, in a second, were dreams wrecked?
With hopes and aspirations
all about to flourish,
a cruel twist of fate,
left us only memories to cherish.
God Bless Viola Beach,
may their sound live on.
Their music, their legacy:
Let’s make their single number one.
