A lovely lady with so much grace,
A smile for everyone upon her face!
A heart of gold and always cheery,
She did her best not to be weary.
A sense of humour that helped her through
The loss of her man, whom she loved so true.
Such brilliant children who did their best
To help her survive life’s toughest test.
A united family, seldom seen these days,
Of unity and love and caring ways.
A special person, no longer here,
And for whom we all will shed a tear.
A life not wasted for she left behind
Memories of a special and tender kind.
Take strength, your Dad has paved the way,
To welcome his loved one home today.
