I am beginning another chapter.
I am turning over a second hand leaf.
I’m engrossed in books I found at the Tip,
and keeping out of frivolous mischief!
I couldn’t get into Evelyn Waugh,
and his book about ‘The early years’.
I much preferred poems by Rupert Brooke,
and some of his contemporary peers
I placed some of the books on a shelf,
and then piled others on various tables.
Whilst the rest are sitting on the stairwell,
one of which, is Aesops Fables!
I want to thank whoever dumped them,
for a varied and interesting read.
I bought five metres of black chiffon today,
as six would have been indulgent greed!
