In 73, ‘Whiskey In The Jar’, on Decca,
gave Thin Lizzy, a Top 6 show.
Followed by eighteen chart hits,
over the next eighteen years, all on Vertigo.
In 76, ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’,
claimed a No.8 stake,
and following on,
making No.31, was ‘Jailbreak’.
In 77, ‘Don’t Believe A Word’, –
up to No.12, took flight.
And at No.14, came ‘Dancin’ In The Moonlight,
(It’s Caught Me In The Spotllight)’.
In 78, ‘Rosalie – Cowgirls’ Song (Medley)’,
reached the Top 20.
And in 79, ‘Waiting For An Alibi’,
made a No.9 entry.
Also, in 79, reaching No.14,
was ‘Do Anything You Want To’.
And finally in 79, ‘Sarah’,
found a No.24 pew.
