Once the tip
has been revealed,
no longer will
the rest stay concealed.
You can press it down,
and it might stay there,
but it will reappear,
once it’s smelt the air.
That’s when it becomes
a tour de force.
A battle royale,
a one way course.
A strength of wills,
with such magnitude,
that you’ll soon realise,
you’re as good as stewed.
