It’s all about balance
and not falling over.
From birth to the grave
in a line, we must walk.
It’s all about trusting
and not calling others.
From when thoughts
into words, we must talk.

He fills his mind with a million things
and follows each job through to the
smallest detail. Being both pernickety
and a perfectionist, he still lives in a
regimented world of orderliness, otherwise
his mind would drift back to the past-
and that wouldn’t do!
Soldier on the front line
So young and brave is he.
With a fearless vulnerability
Please god, bring him home to me.

It’s too late to think laterally
when horizontal you lay.
It’s too soon to celebrate the harvest
until you’ve gathered in the hay.
In principle, I suppose it has merit,
though it’s a little far off the mark.
To be honest, it’s a load of rubbish.
It’s souless and lacks any spark.

A town that I’d never thought twice about,
has come into orbit of late.
Connecting extended tentacles and
proving that it’s never too late.

Don’t give the evil-doers any airtime
It’ll make them martyrs and that’s their aim.
Don’t glorify any wrong doings
Never again mention their name.

Some sparkling razzmatazz is due.
A change of mind-set a must.
Go forward now and don’t look back.
And in your own judgement trust.
Close the book, the story’s told.
Why re-live the agony?
Why shoulder all the blame?
If you read the book a thousand times,
the ending would be the same.
Acceptance of the situation
is the way to battle through.
Satisfaction at the end of each day,
will help start tomorrow anew.
