Dimwits and procrastinators,
egging us on to take a risk.
Advisors and administrators,
wolves, like lambs, do frisk.
Sound bites and appropriators,
in a monetary whisk.
Financial wizards with detonators,
leaving only an asterisk.
True friends are meaningful allies,
never afraid to say what they think.
Our best interest they have at heart,
and want to see us back in the pink.
True friends are with us constantly,
even those who have gone on ahead.
Lovingly locked in a parcel of security,
they tied up with a gossamer thread.
She over compensated
for his short comings.
She let him off the hook.
One wonders if she really knew,
how, without blindness,
love would look?
When a vital part of the infrastructure,
temporarily disappears from the screen.
It’s time to assess what is valuable,
and how on a treadmill, you have been.
And when that necessary component,
re-appears once again on the scene.
It’s good to re-boot and go forward,
and sometimes, wipe the past clean.
We soul search once more,
and forgiveness ask, and promise
in earnest to fulfil the task.
Our transgressions, the headache,
we failed to put right, long after
our weaknesses have come to light.

Send me one of your worries,
tied up with a scarlet bow.
It’s one less item to take off,
your list of ongoing woe.
Send me one of your pipedreams
from deep inside your soul.
I’ll create for it, a life,
and make two halves a whole.
When all is said and done
with battles fought and won.
I look at you and realise
you’ve always been the one.
I know who I would
if I did
but I don’t.
I know who would too
but no chance
so they won’t.
I know it’s a shame
such a waste
argh, but still.
Though it’s out of the question
maybe someday I will!
There are some who are greedy,
and some who are mean.
Some who are lazy,
and some in between.
There are some who are selfish,
and some who raise hell.
Some who are jealous,
and some who won’t gel.
There are some who are clever,
and some who are thick.
Some who are soft,
and some who are slick.
There are some who stay local,
and some who do travel.
How hard family life is,
when feelings unravel.

Pitiful Percoughalees decided
to cool things down, and give
Mendotta some space.
His reason being, that Mendotta
might miss him, and he’d then
be back in the race.
He also needed time to upstage
Unkonkey – an arrogant Admiral
indeed – who Percoughalees thought
behind his uniform, was probably a
beach bum on speed!
